I understand too, that persistent fatigue and chronic fatigue not only affects you physically, but it can hit you hard emotionally as you grapple with lots of complex emotions like “why me”, struggling to understand what you did ‘wrong’ to feel like this and feeling guilty for being so tired all the time.

This is why I am passionate about helping my clients to put persistent fatigue and chronic fatigue behind them.

If you are experiencing persistent fatigue, it is very important you first speak to your GP, as fatigue can be a symptom of many serious conditions and illnesses, which will need to be ruled out by tests, including blood tests.

You should also seek advice from your GP or other health care practitioner as to how best you can be supported back to health and take their advice before taking any new supplements or making lifestyle changes.

If you have a diagnosed mental health condition like anxiety or depression or are taking medication prescribed by your doctor for this condition, you should always consult your GP or a healthcare practitioner before starting any meditation and mindfulness practices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will I get better after 8 weeks?

A: Fatigue can be caused by many different factors, some of which will result in an improvement in energy levels in some people more quickly than others. Improvements in energy levels will also be dependent on the action and changes you make to your life style.

This programme is designed to give you information, guidance and tools and techniques on changes and practices you can make to your diet and lifestyle that could help to improve your energy levels. All the information and guidance is based on scientific study or traditional use for improving energy, health and wellbeing, and whilst a significant number of people will see improvements to their energy levels from following this guidance, each person is different and will recover at a different rate. Whilst many people could expect to see an improvement to how they feel, as each person is an individual, no guarantee can be made that you will feel better at the end of the 8 weeks or after an extended period of time.

If you are experiencing CFS or ME it is important to remember that CFS is a chronic illness it is unlikely that you will feel completely better after 8 weeks, as recovery often takes from anything from 3 – 12 months, depending on the severity of your symptoms.

Long Covid is a new illness with many similarities to CFS and ME, and recovery times are very individual depending on the number and severity of the symptoms.

This programme gives you the steps and the information you need to make the changes that could help you to gradually reduce the symptoms you are experiencing and recover from CFS, ME or Long Covid.

Q: What if I miss a session?

A:  All sessions will be recorded, and you will receive the link within 24 hours of the class.

Q: Where can I buy the herbs and supplements you discuss on the programme?

A: Many of the supplements can be purchased from health food shops or online. I am able to offer participants a 15% discount code for supplements purchased through the Natural Pharmacy or purchased directly through me.

Q: Will you give me specific advice on what I need to do to recover my energy levels?

A: As this is a group programme, Lucy or I will not be able to give you specific information on what is best for you, but we will give recommendations on what herbs/supplements have been shown to help with your symptoms. In order to give specific advice, we will need to understand your medical history and any medication you are taking. Because we know that some people would like additional support to that provided on the programme, we are offering a discount to all programme participants who want to have a 1:1 consultation with either of us to receive tailored advice and treatment. We will give more information on the course.

Q: Is there support available between the sessions?

A: We know that questions may arise after each session, so a private chat group will be set up to answer any questions you may have.

Q: What follow up support is available?

A: We recognise that feeling supported is very important when you are recovering from CFS, ME or Long Covid, that is why we are be offering all programme participants a free 30 minute follow up telephone call approximately 1 month after the programme has completed to see how your recovery is progressing and if you need any further support.

Q: What if I sign up but don’t believe the course is for me?

A: You are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of booking the course. If after 14 days you have decided the course is not for you, a full refund, less a small administrative charge will be made. If you decide the course is not for you after starting the programme, you will receive a refund for the programme less the cost of the classes you have attended and a small administrative charge.
