The Chronically Fatigued and Burnt-Out Woman’s Saviour
Nurturing you so you can re-discover your Natural Energy Reserves
Hello there!
I’m Melisa Jermin. I’m a naturopath, medicinal herbal medicine practitioner and mindfulness and meditation teacher who helps people struggling with a lack of energy and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).
“I just want to feel normal again”
This is what I hear all the time - You just want to get your energy and life back
You may be feeling scared and alone and worrying that you will never get better.
You CAN absolutely get your energy and your life back on track.
Reclaiming your energy, hope and being you.
I help women by giving them the support, advice, mental resilience tools, nutritional advice and the herbal remedy support they need to start to feel they have regained their zest for life.
My vision is to enable people experiencing CFS to feel like themselves again, to have the energy to start doing the things they have so missed without worrying that “they will pay for it tomorrow” with no energy.
I know how it feels…
As I found out through experience, no one knows or appreciates what it feels like to have no energy until you have experienced CFS for yourself.
I know how demoralising it is when you:
Don’t get a good night’s sleep and struggle to get out of bed in the morning.
Wake up feeling as tired as when you went to bed the night before and caffeine and sugar no longer gets you going.
Feel as if you are running on empty all the time.
Are craving carbs and sugary foods to give you some energy to get the basics done and are putting on weight.
Feel like your head is full of cotton wool and you just can’t remember things.
Struggle to get through the day at work or have had to give up your job because you couldn’t cope anymore.
Your social life has crashed as you haven’t got the energy to meet up with friends.
Feel really down, wondering if you will ever get better.
I felt like this ….
… and I was signed off work by my GP. I felt that I had failed myself and those around me, including my work colleagues, however I soon realised that this was just the start of my journey back to health.
This journey taught me a lot about myself and how I engaged and reacted to the world around me and enabled me to make changes that have changed my life for the better.
What did I do?
As CFS is a complicated illness and everyone will experience it differently. I believe that to fully recover, you need to work on different areas of your health.
Here’s my approach:
1. Modify my diet to nourish my body from within with wholefoods and selected nutritional supplements.
2. Use herbal medicine and vitamin and mineral supplements tailored your needs to recover your energy, reduce stress, banish brain fog and reduce the aches and pains.
3. Reduce negative thoughts, patterns and beliefs through regular mindfulness, meditation and yoga nidra.
I recovered and it’s possible for you to recover too.

Finding the right support
Just like you, I wanted someone to support my recovery from CFS. I knew I wanted to work with someone who was both knowledgeable, supportive and provided helpful advice in a caring and empathetic manner. I was fortunate enough to find a practitioner who had all these great qualities and who also embodied my values.
They were vital in helping me recover and these are the values I also live by to help my clients to recover.
It breaks my heart
Having been there, it breaks my heart when I see people struggling to just get through a day, who have a sympathetic GP, but the treatment hasn’t worked for them. They feel completely overwhelmed and they have given up all hope of getting well again.
This is why I am so passionate about helping people regain their energy and sparkle using both my professional knowledge and my personal experience of overcoming this debilitating condition.
I know how important it is not to feel you are being judged by people and for someone to understand just how it feels when you are completely exhausted. I get it and I offer all my clients a safe space to be themselves, share their worries and concerns and be treated with empathy and understanding.
How would it feel to get your life back?
If you were able to:
Do everyday tasks like cooking and shopping without feeling like you had climbed a mountain.
Get through a day at work and have energy so you can enjoy being with your friends and family.
Wake up looking forward to the day instead of worrying if you can get what you need to do done.
Remember why you went upstairs in the first place and think clearly when needing to concentrate in work or to read a book.
Feel empowered to put yourself first and know what relaxation techniques work for you.
Understand what in your life might have triggered your CFS and have the knowledge and tools to prevent a relapse.
I know it made a MASSIVE difference to me, I started to live my life fully again without worrying how I would feel the next day, which was such a relief.
I can help you to put CFS behind you so you can look to the future with more confidence.
How I can help you to reclaim your hope and energy
We will working together on a 1:1 basis to design a programme bespoke to you for gradually rebuilding your energy so that it is sustainable and avoids a relapse and you are confident that it will work for you.
Our consultation appointments provide you with a safe space where you feel supported and listened to by someone who knows how you feel.
I also believe aftercare with between appointment support is so important. That is why I offer between appointment check ins and email support, so I am with you on your journey and available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. You will also have a written record of the recommendations and guidance I give you to refer to. You won’t have to take notes during our appointments as I know that can be difficult when you feel unwell.
I believe empowering you to take the driving seat in your recovery is vital. That is why we jointly agree a recovery plan. I will also provide you with guidance and recommendations on nutrition, lifestyle and therapeutic practices that can support your recovery journey. I believe empowering you to make the changes most relevant to you is so important in your recovery back to feeling well again. However, we will do this in a sustainable and graded way, so you feel supported and nurtured rather than rushed or overwhelmed.
Importantly you will not be alone any longer. You will have the support of someone who knows just how you feel, has had the experience of making a full recovery and is motivated to help you to regain your energy.
When everything you’ve tried hasn’t worked, it’s hard to believe that your life can get better, but sustainable change is possible.
I have experienced the transformation myself and I would love to help you on your journey too.
Want to take the next step forward?
When you are very unwell, it can feel very daunting to try something new, even if you are desperate to feel better again.
I know how you feel.
If you just want to know a bit more about my recovery journey or you would just like to explore how herbal medicine and other natural therapies could help you to kick start your recovery journey, please drop me a note and we can arrange to chat. I’d love to hear from you.
A little more about Melisa …
I am based in the beautiful city of Bristol, enjoying the vibrant vibe of the city.
I am the proud adopter of the 2 beautiful golden retrievers you will have seen on my home page – Paddy and Barney.
They were rescued from a ‘kill shelter’ in Romania by Second chance Dog Adoptions and they are now loving their life in the UK.
I love being out in nature, and I especially love to be by the coast. I find being out in nature is so wonderful at raising my spirits and helping me to feel more energised and alive. The dogs absolutely love it too!
I practice yoga regularly and undertake meditation and mindfulness and practice daily. These wonderful practices have made such a difference to my life. They have helped me to look at life from a more positive perspective and help me to reduce feelings of stress.
I love dark chocolate, especially when it is flavoured with mint.
