Draft Retreat Schedule

This is a draft schedule, timings and activities subject to change due to weather conditions and participants needs.

Friday 8 September

Arrival from 3 p.m., refreshments from 4 p.m.

Retreat starts at 5.30 p.m.

  • Introductions

  • Short grounding meditation

  • Introduction to the weekend – what the weekend will look like - practical information on meals, timings etc.

  • Inspirational reading

  • Short yoga nidra meditation

Dinner at 7.15 p.m.

Drinks and hot chocolate, chat and outside evening meditation offered after dinner

Saturday 9 September

Start the day with an optional walking meditation around the park, observing the sights, sounds & smells in silence

BREAKFAST from 8.15 a.m.

  • Start the session with a short mindfulness meditation

  • Check in - How’s everyone feeling, intention setting for the weekend.

  • Reflective reading & guided meditation

    BREAK

  • Discussion - using sound & music in meditation

  • Nature/sound based meditation

  • Optional journaling and sharing session followed by a discussion on using nature & meditation as part of a self care routine.

    LUNCH

    Free time until 4.30 p.m. to chill, reflect, visit donkey sanctuary, use the swimming pool (to be booked, small additional charge payable) etc. Your fee time to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

  • Start session with a short mindfulness meditation

  • Self care discussion - supporting meditation with herbs and flower remedies and how these can help in everyday life to potentially soothe tension.

    BREAK with herbal teas and chance to try flower remedies, essential oils.

  • Close afternoon session with a Loving Kindness meditation. Followed by optional journaling.

    DINNER at 7 p.m.

  • After dinner opportunity to join a quiz being held in the onsite café or join an evening meditation

Sunday 10 September

Start the day with an optional walking meditation around the park, observing the sights, sounds & smells in silence

BREAKFAST from 8.30 a.m.

Retreat recommences at 9.45 a.m.

  • Short mindfulness grounding meditation

  • Discussion on everyday mindfulness, incorporating it and breathing practices into your life (including some short practices). Reflections on the weekend.

BREAK

  • Yoga nidra - to close the retreat

LUNCH from 12.30 and departure
